Time and Cycle of Special Program

Workers engaged in activities subject to the special program shall have the checkup at the intervals specified for each harmful factor. For high risk employees, the cycle of the special program shall be shortened as follows.

Type 1

Harmful Factor Time of 1st Special Health Examination
N.N-Dimethylacetamide, N.N-Dimethylformamide (DMF) Within 1 month from assignment
Cycle : 6 months

Type 2

Harmful Factor Time of 1st Special Health Examination
Benzene Within 2 month from assignment
Cycle : 6 months

Type 3

Harmful Factor Time of 1st Special Health Examination
1.1.2.2-Tetrachloroethane, Carbon Tetrachloride, Vinyl Chloride, Acrylonitrile Within 3 month from assignment
Cycle : 6 months

Type 4

Harmful Factor Time of 1st Special Health Examination
Asbestos, Cotton Dust Within 12 month from assignment
Cycle : 12 months

Type 5

Harmful Factor Time of 1st Special Health Examination
Mineral Dust, Wood Dust, Noise & Impact Noise Within 12 month from assignment
Cycle : 24 months

Type 6

Harmful Factor Time of 1st Special Health Examination
All relevant harmful factors in Appendix 12-2, except those in Article 1 or Article 5. Within 6 month from assignment
Cycle : 12 months
In the Time of 1st Special Health Examination,"within X months" as defined by each harmful factor means that the special medical checkup should be conducted as near as possible to “X months."
For example, the period "within 6 months" refers to the period from at least 4 to 6 months from assignment.
